Our wedding Jul 3, 2010

Our wedding day.

A splendid day. We thank all of you so much for being with us in such an special moment.

We love you all.

Camino de Santiago Apr 4, 2010

During the last few days, we have been walking through the Way of St. James ("Camino de Santiago" in Spanish, or "Camiño de Santiago", in Galician); it's a pilgrimage to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia.

It is a very popular pilgrimage, specially during "Xacobeo Holy Year" (those years where June 25th is Sunday, such as 2010).

There are several different "Camino de Santiago" ways, depending on the starting point. Trini and me walked throw the French Way, which is the most popular one. We began walking on March 30th from Sarria, and arrived Santiago on April 3rd: 5 days walking about 115 km total.

We have a new flatmate Mar 12, 2010

This evening, Trini has come home with something new; her father, José Juárez, has given me an unexpected gift: a budgerigar.

It is green and yellow (like almost every budgerigar). He's male and lives in a small jail, with two transversal sticks, a hoop, a feeder and a trough.

Right now, he lives in the kitchen, on the table, and next to the window. He is rather shy and tweets very loud, but only a few times in a day (at least for now).
